Elder Jason Elquist, March 16th, 2015

This week has been a long but good week. Last night we received a text from our zone leaders about an investigator who moved from Utah to Temecula and lives in the ward that I'm serving in. the investigators name is Austin and he is 10 years old and he has been taught all the lessons and all my companion and I need to do is get him interviewed by our district leader and then baptize Austin so that is a miracle. We should baptize him next week.

Also Delorise is set to be baptized next week but she needs to give up coffee but she has been using it to help her legs not swell up and keep the fluids normal. So we might be able to baptize her even though she is drinking coffee. we are just waiting to hear from the Mission President.

Elder Jason Elquist, March 9th, 2015

This is been a very short week with long days. I found out that raccoons look a lot like black cats and if you try to pick up a raccon at night it will try to bite you.  Lucky for me I didn't get bit. I also found out that if you shoot a raccoon with a sling shot it will not die.

On Wednesday we taught Michelle and we sang a lot and then on Sunday we taught Michelle about testimonies and bore testimony.

Did a lot biking again I found out that it is easier to bike up hills if you ride on the side walk. also tires  for bikes will cost you about 90 bucks for two if you find the right one or else you will spend 65 each.

Also I found out that I have been sleep talking and walking. I freak my companion out because I was walking around the apartment and was talking. so that is new!

Elder Jason Elquist, March 2nd, 2015

This week was a really good week, We taught Deloris and her daughter the restoration and Deloris told us how she tried to quit drinking coffee but her legs swelled up so she doesn't think she will be able to quit drinking coffee. Then we taught Michelle twice this week and both lesson were really good, Just waiting for her to turn 18 so she can get baptize. Also we taught Brittany about the Plan of Salvation and next week we are going to extend her a baptism invite. Believe or not I did not crash at all this week on my bike so I am making progress. soon I will be able to bike like a zebra runs through the jungle or a monkey swinging on tree branches.
